Algarve to przede wszystkim niezliczone piaszczyste plaże, świecące przez cały rok słońce, świeże wody Atlantyku i nieśpieszny rytm południa. Drzewa figowe, pomarańczowe czy migdałowe dominują w tutejszym krajobrazie i nadają mu żywszego wymiaru. Jednak Algarve to nie tylko przyroda, ale również region, gdzie najbardziej można poczuć arabskiego ducha. W tutejszych miasteczkach: Silves, Faro, Lagos czy Tavirze, zachwycimy się wpływami Maurów i przeniesiemy się do czasów, kiedy życie toczyło się wolniej.
