Trip to Khor Virap-Noravank-Areni

We will start the trip to Khor Virap, located in Ararat valley. It is a monastery and pilgrimage site, where Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned for 13 years. Thereafter he became the King's religious mentor and they led the proselytizing activity in Armenia. Armenia is the first country to adopt Christianity as official religion in 301. Then we will forward our way to Noravank, a 13th century Armenian monastery, located 122 km away from Yerevan. After the spiritual and religious emotions, we will have great chance to taste Armenian wine in Areni on our way back to capital.
