Romantic Sintra
On this tour we will go back to the 19th century and visit the most wonderful palaces of the Romantic period of Sintra, the palaces of Pena and Monserrate. We will discover its amazing gardens where hundreds of native and exotic species form unique luxuriant parks. Nearby, a tasty picnic will be waiting for us, just like during Romanticism, when picnics became popular. The journey back to Lisbon will be done by the coastline road, which offers amazing views. In it we'll make two stops: first at Cabo da Roca, the westernmost tip of Europe, and second, in the charming bay of Cascais, an old fisherman's town that became a popular resort among the aristocracy from the 19th century onwards.
