Gokyo Lake and Everest Base Camp Trek
We begin our journey from Kathmandu by flight to the mountain airstrip at Lukla, the heart of the Everest Region. We follow the Dudh Kosi valley Phakding Benkar Monjo to Namche Bazaar. The Renjo-La Pass (5345m) route is off the usual beaten track. At the pass, a great view of the Gokyo lakes on one side and other two lakes on the other side, and a myriad of snowy peaks in the background provide this incredible atmosphere. From the Gokyo peak enjoy stunning summit mountain including Everest, Makalu and Cho Oyo. From Gokyo we follow a trail over Cho-La pass and reach Lobuche, Gorakshep –Everest base camp and Kalapatthar. After the ascent of Kalapatthar (5545m) and the impressive up-close view of Everest, our return route passes through Tyangboche, a magnificent location with a fascinating monastery which savor the incredible scenery, including magnificent views of Everest (8848m), Mt. Lhotse (8516m), Mt. Nuptse (7855m), Mt. Ama Dablam (6856m), Kangtega (6809m), Kwangde (6194m) etc and trek continue via Namche Bazaar to Lukla than by flight back to Kathmandu.
