The Tsum Valley is a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage valley situated in northern Gorkha district of Nepal. Tsum comes from the Tibetan word "Tsombo" which means vivid. The trail heads up the valley of the Budi Gandaki River through wild and unexplored country inhabited mainly by members of the Gurung ethnic groups. Good cup of the local cultivated natural coffee and Tatopani hot springs will help you to relax on this intensive trial.

People in Tsum Valley still practice polyandry system and they have their own unique culture, tradition, & dialect. They celebrate unique festival like Lhosar, Dhacyhang, Saka Dawa, Faning & others. Many residents of this valley reported that they have seen or found the signs of Mehti, commonly referred as the Yeti or 'Abominable Snowman'. Moreover, we always try to provide more authentic information about the place as the valley is recently been opened for the trekking.

Accessibility: Drive to Arughat to trail-head from Kathmandu, start the trek according to the itinerary, after Tsum Valley from Arughat drive back or trek to Kathmandu.

The Route: Maximum altitude (4865m), 5-7-hrs average walking per day, moderate trail.

Trip Facilities: Wilderness Camping Trek.

Season : Spring: March - April/Autumn: September – November

Tsum Valley Permit: From September to November per week US$ 70 per person and after 7 days per day US$ 10 per person, and from December to August per week US$ 50 per person and after 7 days per day US$ 7 per person

Trip Valid: This offer is valid on reservations made from September through December 31, 2017.

DAY 02: Excursion day in Kathmandu - Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath, Bouddhanath stup and Pashupatinath temple

DAY 03: Kathmandu drive to Arughat (600m/7-hrs) Scenic road-head drive, Budi Gandaki River and largest settlement in the valley

DAY 04: Trek to Soti Khola (710m/5-6hrs) Cultivated land
