Lalibela churches , Driving Lalibela to Mekele & Day trip to Danakil Dallo depression
Day -1
We will meet at the airport of lalibela, drive 25km( 30 minutes) within spectacular view.
After you check in the hotel we will drive to sites where we find a concentration of some of Ethiopia most famous Rock hewn churches, mostly referred by many as " the living wonders of the world " this churches are they have been here for at list 900 years , an active christen shrine, spiritual center of the country religious life.
Then we will visit the 1st clusters of churches and this contains :-Bet- Medhalealem , Bet- maryam ,Bet- Meskel , Bet- Denagle , Bet- Mikael & Golgotha
After lunch we will visit the 2nd clusters of churches and this contains :- Bet- Gabriel & Rafael, Bet- Abba libanos , Bet- Emanuel
Finally we will visit St.George , most probably this is the highlight of your visit to Lalibela and this is the one in a shape of cross

Day 2
Drive from Lalibela to Mekele , 390km , 7hr drive
Overnight :- Mekele
Day 3
Very early morning drive from Mekele to Danakil Dallo excursion ( 240km)
Meet support vehicle and drive to Ahmedela via Berhaile , visit Lake Asale and watch that salt worker as they cut bricks of salt from the lakebed, The bricks are then sold on the market and loaded on camel caravans for transport to the highlands, proceed to Dalol and view the dramatic and color full geological formations caused by the hot springs rich in sulfur, potash and salt .

Drive to Mekele airport for your flight to Addis
