Day 1: Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli

Amboseli National park. The drive will be 4/5 hours to the main gate, arriving with short game drive in time for lunch and check in at AA Lodge. Afternoon game drive within Amboseli Park which lies at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Mount Kilimanjaro offers scenic backgrounds for photography. Later dinner and overnight at AA Lodge.

With the various attractions that everyone wants to experience and the thrill that comes from the game drives and watching animals in their territory, Amboseli National Park is a great place to visit. The National Park offers the one of the best African wildlife adventure experience when it comes to the wide range of wildlife species, as well as the spectacular view of Mount Kilimanjaro. The park is renowned for its large herds of elephants. Other animals in the park are; giraffes, buffalos, zebras, hyena, lions, cheetahs, impala and even jackals among others.

Day 2: Amboseli – Lake Nakuru

Depart Amboseli after breakfast, game viewing as we head toward the gate of this famous National Park; drive towards Nairobi for lunch before proceeding down the escarpment of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru where we arrive in the early afternoon. Game drives as we explore this park the is renowned for both its wildlife and bird-life. Leave the park in the evening for dinner and overnight at Water buck Hotel, Nakuru

There are millions of flamingos and few wild animals such as white rhinos, gazelle, warthog, and lion among others. The Lake Nakuru National Park is one of the few Great Rift Valley attractions in Kenya that have the potential to hold a large number of birds. The place has alkaline water ecosystem that suits other bird species such as European winter, black winged stilts, and avocets in which can be great experience. During courtship, a group of up-to 10 individuals hold their heads and neck high and call to one another.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru - Maasai Mara

Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Lake Nakuru for Masai Mara. The drive will be 5 hours to the main gate, arriving in time for lunch. Check in at AA Lodge, Ashnil Mara camp or Sarova Mara game Camp and have lunch. Afternoon game drive through the park in search of Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo, leopard etc. Later dinner and overnight at AA Lodge, Ashnil Mara Camp or Sarova Mara Game Camp.

Located only three hundred Kilometers from Nairobi, the iconic Maasai Mara offers no less than one thousand five hundred and ten square kilometers of wild open savanna. It plays host to one of the modern day wonders of the world. All of the big five call the Maasai Mara home. Lions are easily spotted at the Mara. The beautiful Maasai people continue to graze their livestock in the wilderness ñ right alongside the wild beasts they have lived with for thousands of years. The Maasai Mara is part of an extensive Eco system made up of eight large group ranches.

Day 4: Maasai Mara – Full day

This full day is spent exploring Masai Mara in search of the Big 5. Optional hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$ 450 per person. Dinner and overnight stay at Mara AA Lodge or Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe: over 450 species of animals have been recorded here. You will easily see lions, rhinos, hippos, crocodiles, giraffe, wildebeests, zebras, buffalo, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, buffalo, leopard, many kinds of antelopes and elephant. It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna- lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena and vultures.

• Accommodation: AA Lodge, Ashnil Mara Camp or Sarova Mara Game Camp.

• Meals & drinks: All meals included plus drinking water (Other drinks not included)

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi (Drop off)

Early morning breakfast at your lodge/camp, check out of the lodge/camp and drive to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch. Lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant known for its wide variety of meat including giraffe, crocodile, ostrich, antelope and zebra; afterwards drop off at your respective hotel or at the Airport at around 3pm.

Optional to our clients with evening Flights back home - if you have an evening flight back home you can do more game drives in the Masai Mara on this day with packed lunch departing the Masai Mara at about midday to arrive in Nairobi at around 5 to 6 pm; if there is still time before check-in at the airport we proceed for dinner at the Carnivore before drop-off at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

• Main destination: Nairobi City

• Meals and drinks: Breakfast in the Masai Mara and Complimentary Lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant for first option and for those with evening flights breakfast and lunch en-route while Complimentary Dinner is taken at the Carnivore Restaurant including drinking water (Other drinks not included)
