Bangkok’s most impressive attraction, the Grand Palace is a huge complex of Thai temples and historical buildings. It’s one must-see sight that no visit to the city would be complete without. It was built in 1782 and for 150 years was the home of the Thai King, the Royal court and the administrative seat of government.

10:30 AM

Wat Pho

Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha), or Wat Phra Chetuphon, is right behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha – it’s a must-see for any first-time visitor to Bangkok. As one of the largest temple complexes in the city, it’s famed for its giant reclining Buddha that is 46 metres long, covered in gold leaf.

12:00 PM

One of the rarest markets you will ever experience in your lifetime, seeing how monks, collectors trading and buying. Besides amulets, there are other kinds of charms or superstitious stuff you can find here at the market including figures of different shapes and meanings.

One of Bangkok’s most picturesque and impressive temples. The design is very different from the other temples you can visit in the Thailand. Wat Arun is partly made up of colorfully decorated spires and stands majestically over the water.

Chao Phraya River-‘The River of Kings’

Bangkok’s busiest and most modern districts. Around 50,000 people still use the ferries here to get around each day. We can hop on a long-tail boat to take a closer look of the river.

An impressive collection of Thai and Southeast Asian paintings, sculptures, portraits and photos from post-WWII Thai artists.

05:00 PM
