On arrival in Kathmandu from respective country at the Nepal International Airport. Trekking Planner staff and guide will receive you and the group for short drive to your hotels in the right in the hub of Kathmandu city around Thamel area,an exciting location. Where one can find all needful items stepped with shops and stores and many world class restaurants and hotels.

On reaching at the hotel, then check into your rooms after a refreshing rest then meet all the members of the group at a meeting place in the hotel lobby or in a conference room for group briefing, here our guide and leader will provide you with full information of the treks, tours with other necessary details to make your stay in Nepal enjoyable and interesting.

Cultural and Historical sightseeing tour and trek preparation.

Enjoy your second day in Kathmandu visiting around places of great historical, and religious interest, which will help you to understand the Nepalese culture of both Hindu and Buddhism. Our tour guide leads you to various exciting areas, where most places are listed in world heritage, tour includes famous old Durbar Square and palace courtyard, steeped with colorful activities. From here visit of Swayambhunath Stupa, the oldest monuments of more than 2600 years old.

Tour of Bouddhanath a large dome stupa, allows you to get taste of Tibetan and Buddhism culture and visit of holy Pashupatinath Hindu temple.

After a wonderful time return to hotel with free leisure afternoon and preparation for the adventure to Everest region.

Fly to Lukla (2828m//9279ft) 35min and trek to Phakding (2780m/9121ft) 3-4 hrs walk

An early morning after breakfast transfer to domestic airport for short flight to Lukla on a small aircraft (Twin Otter or Dornier) air journey of 35 minutes facing Himalayan panorama with views of Mt. Everest. On arrival at Tenzing & Hillary airport in Lukla. Time to get refreshed and to get organized for the walks, a pleasant first day trek through Sherpa farm villages with views of Kwangde and Kusum Khanguru peaks.

Slowly, walk reach you to first overnight stop at Phakding and get transfer in a nice, cozy lodge located near Dudh Kosi River.

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440 m/11287ft) 5-6 hrs walk

From Phakding morning after breakfast start second day walk to famous Namche Bazaar, route follows Dudh Kosi River upstream and crossing bridges to Monjo a nice lovely village, and then enter Sagarmatha National Park.

Sagarmatha a name for Everest in Nepal, the local Sherpa calls as Chomolungma (of Tibetan origin) in both languages means 'Great Mother'.

Walk from national entrance leads to lunch stop at Jorsalle the last village before Namche, afternoon few hour of pleasant walk within lovely forest of rhododendron and pine trees, and then crossing the last high bridge climb leads on wide path facing views of snow peaks, and then finally reach Namche Bazaar.

Where houses stands on an amphitheater U shaped bowl, a lively large village almost a town where local and trekkers can find various facilities, at Namche in the comfort of lovely lodge facing views of Tharmasarku and Kwangde peaks.

Rest day at Namche Bazar

Morning at Namche rest day for acclimatization, before heading to Tengboche a perfect place rest and free day at 3,440 m high.

On rest day, morning a short hike to Namche view points for best panorama of Mt. Everest-Ama Dablam and range of peaks, afternoon explore Namche lined with well stocked shops and stores, Namche gets busy and crowded with local in Saturday Market held once a week.

Trek to Tengboche (3850m//12632ft) 4-5 hrs walk

After an exciting rest at Namche, morning walk leads you on gradual scenic trail with short descend towards Imjatse River for lunch stop at a small settlement Phunge-Tenga.

Afternoon climb leads to few hours, an interesting walk within the shade of rhododendron, pines, fir forest with grand views of snow-capped peaks.

Having occasional rest in between walk then finally reach at Tengboche and the monastery, located on scenic spot surround by array of peaks includes view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Khangtiaga, Tharmasarku, Kwangde and majestic Ama Dablam, afternoon visit the magnificent monastery treasures beautiful arts and idols of Buddha and other gurus and saints.

Trek to Khumjung (3753m/12313ft) 4-5 hrs walk

Enjoy the wonderful Mountain panorama with Mt. Everest and closest view of beautiful Ama-Dablam, morning an easy downhill to Phungi Tenga, after crossing a bridge an hour climb and then on gentle winding trail. On leaving the main trail a slow short climb within birch and juniper trees then reach Khumjung village, located on a scenic glacial valley. Check into a nice lodge with warm hospitality of the local, afternoon visit the old monastery and witness a Yeti scalp then tour of the only high school of Khumbu.

Trek to Monjo (2835m/9303ft) 4-5 hrs walk

Morning enjoy grand views of surrounding mountain range, a slow and pleasant walk with options either take a short route with climb to Everest View Hotel and then downhill to Namche Bazaar. As we have time today, best to visit the adjoining Khunde village which is less an hour walk on gradual up to Khunde and visit the first hospital built by Edmund Hillary and Himalayan Trust.

Enjoy the best views of snow mountain range from Khunde and then head towards Namche Bazaar, a lovely walks on long downhill to stop for lunch at Namche. Afternoon continue descend to the river bed and with last short climb to national park exit gate and then at Monjo village for overnight stop.

Trek from Manjo to Lukla (2828m/9279ft) 4-5 hrs walk

Enjoy the last day walk from Monjo on pleasant gradual trail crossing bridge over Dudh Kosi River and then with few short ups and downs to Phakding. From here retrace the journey to Lukla for few hours on the final day walk of the adventure.

On reaching Lukla for last overnight stop, enjoy rest of the afternoon at leisure with final dinner at Lukla, enjoy the last dinner or a party with the staff members.

Fly back to Kathmandu(1350m/4430ft) and transfer to hotel

From Lukla flight starts early morning for Kathmandu on a fine clear day, sometime the flight time can delay due to weather condition, as per the flight time board in a small plane for scenic flight back to Kathmandu.

On reaching Katmandu domestic terminal our guide transfer you back to your hotels around Thamel area.

Contingency and spare day, options for own individual activities

A reserve and contingency day in case of flight delay at Lukla can happen sometimes due to bad weather conditions, even in the best trekking time of a year, on this free day enjoy another sightseeing tour or have a leisure time with individual activities.

Depart Kathmandu for international departure.
