3 days Marrakech fes desert trip

The tour will start from Marrakech driving to Dades Gorge via the dramatic Tizi ‘n’ Tichka pass (2260m), over the High Atlas Mountains, where we pause to appreciate the charm of the landscape on the twisted roads through the Berber villages.we will visit the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it has been named by UNESCO in 1987, This Berber Kasbahs which has been used as a very important destination for international filmmakers for more than 20 films including 'Lawrence of Arabia', 'Gladiator' and 'Alexander' was also one of the most important fortress strongholds on the old Salt Road where caravans brought slaves, gold, ivory, salt and silk from sub-Saharan countries to Marrakech and beyondthen having lunch in the Kasbah before continuing to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa”, along the “Road of the thousand Kasbahs”such as Taourirt kasbah- the fascinating “sand castles”. Stopping at Kalaat Mgouna, “the rose’s city” known for roses and its annual festival during the roses harvest in May we’ll then continue to our hotel in the heart of the Dades Gorge. Overnight in our Hotel/Riad.

Day 2 : Dades Gorge - Todra Gorge - Tinjdad - Merzouga. Camel ride and night in a camp ( Private camp and not a busy touristy one)

The next day after breakfast we will drive from Boumalene Dades to Merzouga .via Tinghir village and visit Todra Gorge where the cliffs are as high as 600m and only 10m apart, And see panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley and having lunch either in Tinjdad or if you want continue to Rissani where you could have the local speciality, Berber Pizza. then heading to Merzouga where the camels are waiting to take us to a Berber camp in the middle of the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. 20 km long and 5 to 8 km wide it is also reputed as the highest sand dunes in North Africa. . In our way enjoy taking lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise on the high dunes, then arriving to spend the night in the camp(Nomad Berber tents) which is provided by everything (restaurant, kitchen, mattress, blankets, and cushions) after dinner we will gather around the fire and perhaps drums music in the middle of the Sahara.

Day 3: Merzouga camel ride back - Ziz Valley - Azrou - Fes

Wake up to witness the beautiful scenery of sunrise from the top of the dunes of Erg. Afterwards, you’ll peacefully camel-trek back to your Riad appreciating the unique beauty of the spectacular Erg Chebbi dunes – changing with the light as the day progresses. After taking a shower and breakfast in the hotel, you will leave to Fez by 4x4 vehicles via the High Atlas mountains.On the way, we'll pass through Rissani, Erfoud, Errachidia, Medilt and Azrou where We will stop for lunch and enjoy playing with wild monkeys on the Cedar forests.then arriving to fes where Our guide will make sure you reach your chosen Riad or Hotel.
