ISINLIVÍ-CHUGCHILÁN-QUILOTOA TREK- 2D/1N
This trekking is the most famous of our beautiful country Ecuador. We start early in the morning to go to the Guingopana hill, a touristic stop on the way, before arriving to the town of Isinliví. The town of Isinliví is at the same altitude as Quito, the capital with 2,800 m. located in the province of Cotopaxi, Canton Sigchos. From this place begins the first day of trekking, in this case are 11 km to the neighboring town of Chugchilán located at 3,200 famous for the production of cheese nationally and internationally.
On the way we will visit the small indigenous communities of Chinaló bajo, Itualó. In Chugchilán we will rest in the beautiful Cloud Forest Hosteria and the next day, after a delicious breakfast, we will continue the route to the famous Quilotoa Lagoon at 3,912 meters above sea level.
The second day is a journey of 14 km through the beautiful moorlands of the canyon of the Toachi River, to reach Quilotoa to enjoy a delicious picnic lunch and then return to the city of Quito.
