Route:Negombo

Drive:01 Hours

Highlights:Airport Pick up, Negombo Beach

Welcome on arrival at the Colombo International Airport and transfer to hotel in Negombo.

(Negombo is 10km and 20 minutes from the Colombo International Airport) Rest and relax on

the beach (due to long flight). In the evening witness the beautiful sunset. Overnight stay at the

hotel.

Day 2

Route:Negombo

Drive:01 Hours

Highlights:Sightseeing at Negombo, Boat Ride at Maha Oya

After breakfast, visit Negombo city. (Negombo is a fishing village. Most of the people living

in Negombo are fishermen. The main religion is Christianity which is why it is called The Little

Rome. The main languages are Sinhala and Tamil. Most of the tourists spend their beach

vacation in Negombo as it is a tourists’ attraction. In the afternoon leave for a boat ride in Maha

Oya (A Long river). After the boat trip return to the hotel. Overnight stay at the booked hotel.

Day 3

Route:Negombo > Pinnawala > Sigiriya

Drive:02 Hours

Highlights:Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, Sigiriya Rock Fortress

Early breakfast and leave at 0700 hrs to visit the Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala. After the

program at Pinnawala, proceed to Sigiriya. On the way, visit Selyn factory in Kurunegala which

produces handloom materials. Then check in to the hotel. In the evening climb the Sigiriya rock

and back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the booked hotel.

Day 4

Route:Sigiriya > Polonnaruwa

Highlights:Sightseeing at Polonnaruwa, Ayurvedic Spa Experience

After breakfast, drive to the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (this was the 2nd ancient capital of Sri

Lanka). On the way back to the hotel (optional) Elephant ride and Ayurvedic massage. Dinner and

overnight stay at the booked hotel.

Day 5

Route:Sigiriya > Dambulla > Kandy

Drive:02 Hours

Highlights:Dambulla Golden Rock Temple, Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic

Leave for Kandy, en-route visit Golden Rock / Cave temple in Dambulla and Spice Garden. Arrive

in Kandy, check into the hotel. In the evening, visit the Sacred Temple of the Tooth to join the

night ceremony and cultural dance show. Dinner and overnight stay at the booked hotel.

Day 6

Route:Kandy > Nuwara eliya

Drive:03 Hours

Highlights:Royal Botanical Gardens, Ceylon Tea Plantations & Factory

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya, en-route visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, a Tea factory,

and Tea Plantations. Check into hotel. In the evening take a city tour of Nuwara Eliya, and back to

the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the booked hotel.

Day 7

Route:Nuwara eliya > Udawalawa National Park

Highlights:Train Ride to Ella, Safari to Udawalawa National Park

After breakfast leave for Nuwara Eliya, en-route visit the Royal Botanical Gardens, a Tea factory,

and Tea Plantations. Check into hotel. In the evening take a city tour of Nuwara Eliya, and back to

the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the booked hotel.

Day 8

Route:Udawalawa National Park > Galle

Drive:02 Hours

Highlights:Sightseeing at Galle Dutch Fort

After breakfast, leave for Galle. Arrive in Galle, check into the hotel. In the afternoon, have leisure

time and free walk in the City and the historic Dutch Fort. Dinner and overnight stay at the

booked hotel.

Day 9

Route:Galle > Negombo

Drive:02 Hours

Highlights:Tsunami Memorial Museum, Visit Turtle Hatchery

After breakfast, leave for Negombo. En-route visit the Tsunami Memorable Photo Museum,

Turtle Hatchery. After sightseeing the Colombo city proceed to Negombo, check into the hotel.

Overnight stay at the hotel.

Highlights:Airport Drop Off

Departure transfer to the Colombo International Airport.
