Namiko Kanata es un guía turístico privado local en Japón
Konnichiwa!! (Hello in Japanese)
I’m Namiko. Please call me Nami.
I’m “Dosanko,” born and grown up in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
I love the beautiful landscapes with lots of natural environments in Hokkaido including Sapporo.
After graduating university 'some??' years ago, I had worked at a car exporting business department at a general trading company. I have lived in Toronto in Canada for a while with my family. After coming back to Japan, I have been teaching English from small children to high school students.
I like travelling, watching foreign TV dramas, theatergoing, touring of restaurants and shopping. I’m also interested in some Japanese cultures such as Tea ceremony and Kabuki which is traditional Japanese form of theater and now designated as UNESCO’s intangible culture.
In Sapporo, we have lots of exciting events like Snow Festival, Yosakoi Dance Festival, Hokkaido Shinto Shrine’s Festival, Sapporo Autumn Fest, Sapporo White Illumination and German Christmas Market all year round. The city is always vibrant, and furthermore within a half hour or so, you can get to the skiing mountains, hot springs and so on.
As Sapporo is the capital city of Hokkaido, from Sapporo, we can visit the major tourist spots easily such as Otaru, Asahikawa, Niseko, Furano, Hakodate, Noboribesu and Kushiro.
I’d be happy and honored to share these attractions with you and make your trip special here in Hokkaido.
