Day 1: G game drive in Lake Manyara National Park:

Arrive in Tanzania and proceed to Lake Manyara National park for full day game drive.

There will be enough opportunities to see many animals such as lions on the trees, giraffes, hippos, elephants, impalas, cheetah, zebras and leopards.

Dinner and overnight at Farm House: Full board.

Day 2: Special day for Wildebeest Migration watching:

In February we will normally meet the migration with large herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle. There are always plenty of resident animals, such as giraffe, buffalo, and elephant, and many large predators such as lion, cheetah, and leopard.

Day 3: Special day for Wildebeest Migration watching:

This diverse and interesting landscape will provide us with the ultimate in game viewing, we will hopefully see all of the plain games; elephants, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, lions and if you are lucky the elusive leopard and cheetah, as well as huge amounts of interesting bird life, from the elegant secretary birds to the flightless ostrich.

Day 4: Special day for Wildebeest Migration watching:

After breakfast we will take the packed lunch with us and proceed with the game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

After having our lunch we will proceed with our game viewing following the move of the migrants on the southwest of the park. Approximately 1.3 million wildebeest, 250,000 gazelles and 200,000 Zebras have been recorded sharing the short grass.

Day 5: Game drive in Ndutu areas:

In February the game around Ndutu is much like game viewing in any of the southern African countries. In some cases it is still better and you can never take away the feeling of space and wonder that the Serengeti evokes.

Day 6: Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater:

We will drive around the rim of the Crater itself, and from here we can look down and see the herd of wildebeest or buffalos. Finally we descend into the crater. The crater walls provide a natural sanctuary for the animals, which means there is plenty to see: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino and leopard (if you are lucky).

Day 7: Olmoti and Empakai Crater:

After breakfast depart to Olmoti Crater for a half day walk. Often we meet Maasai on the way to the water falls at the crater. At afternoon we proceed to our base camp at Empakaai Crater (Special Campsite). Experiencing the serenity and quiet beauty of this wild spot. Surrounding the lake you will reach springs, where you frequently see lots of wildlife. In the lake there are many flamingoes.

Day 8: Empakaai to Lake Natron:

Today we start walking from Empakaai to Lake Natron. We descend the outer hills of the Great Rift Valley; we walk through the open plains of the Embulbul depression, passing through Naiobi village. We have also the great opportunity to meet the local Maasai. Ol Doinyo Lengai and Mount Meru are seen along the way. Donkeys carry our luggage.

Day 9: Maasai Boma Tour:

Visit a Maasai boma and see the lifestyle of this legendary tribe up-close. Along with a guided tour of the boma and an introduction to the local Maasai population, tribesmen will offer to paint traditional Maasai tattoos for visitors and even let them milk their prized cows.

Day 10: Game drive in Tarangire National Park:

Today we drive to Tarangire National Park, for excellent game viewing. Tarangire is a small park which offers some excellent sights. Generally in the dry seasons Tarangire comes alive as wildlife and birdlife congregate on the Tarangire River, which is a permanent source of water. We spend the night in our lodge beautifully set inside the park with stunning views and a unique atmosphere.

Day 11: Tarangire Cultural Experience Tour:

Morning breakfast at Tarangire Safari Lodge the rest of the day is free to relax and or explore the maasai cultural experience, you will go on a walk to visit datoga tribes. The Maasai live in the areas as well as the Datoga. Learning about their history is as fascinating as the views are breathtaking from several hilltop peaks in the area.

Day 12: Tarangire to Kia Lodge:

This lovely lodge is located near the airport and your accommodations will be in one of the 40 charming bungalows set among the gardens. The open air bar has a magnificent view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Relax the remainder of the day by the pool, or soak in the view from your bungalow. A late dinner buffet for those flying in late is provided.
