The grandeur of the Registan Square surrounded by 3 madrassah of the XV - XVII centuries will forever remain in the memories of the visitors. The main mosque of Tamerlane's capital, the famous Bibi - Khanym, one of the biggest mosques of the Moslem world is still very impressive on the background of the old city. Here you'll see the mysterious view of Shakhi - Zinda, a necropolis of local nobles, dating from the XI century and the Observatory of Ulugbek, the beginning of the XV-th century.

Apart from this there are more objects of interest, including museums, medieval paper workshop, handmade silk carpets factory, the eastern markets and other things.
