Behind high fences of a hundreds and a half foreign embassies life is bustling with its own customs and rituals. Many embassies are located in the unique old mansions. Almost all the mansions are covered with romantic legends, have their own fascinating history and family secrets. For example, the mansion, in which the Embassy of Nigeria is located today, was owned by A. Suvorov; the Embassy of Greece was owned by Governor General Zakrevskii, who was known as Churban-Pasha for his rudeness.
