The Seven Rila Lakes Circus/Le cirque des sept lacs
Let me show you my favourite hike to the seven alpine lakes, burbling mountain creeks and spectacular view points. This excursion begin from Sofia with car/bus 1 h30 transfer to the National Park of Rila Mountain. At the hut Pionerska we take the chair lift in order to reach the Circus of the Seven lakes, which is one of the most beautiful places in the Balkans. Hiking the lakes situated between 2100 and 2500 meters above sea level, and pass the Lower, the Fish lake, the Trefoil lake, the Twin, the Kidney. For the enthousiastes we can continue with the lakes called the Eye and the Tear.
The natural beauty of the place attracts followers of the New Age belief called The White Confraternity. The path offers unique views and takes between 2 and 4 h. After the trail we can enjoy the thermal pool of Sapareva banya, famous for its unique geyser in continental Europe - 101,3 Celsius hot.

The price of 30 euro per person (for +4 persons), includes pick up and drop off from your address in Sofia, all the transfers, certified mountain guide for the hiking. Not included in the price are the personal expenses, lift tickets, entrance fees in the Spa resort, lunch and drinks, travel insurance.
