Mtskheta is a city near Tbilisi. It is usually called a Holly City. Centuries ago it was a capital of Georgia, so it remains its richness and pride with reconstructed architecture. On this day we will visit Jvari(Cross) Monastary, built in the 6th c. which offers you the most memorable view as it's on the top of the mountain and overlooking Mtskheta city, and afterwards we will go into the city itself to visit Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, literally the Cathedral of the Living Pillar, which has huge history ( originally built in

the 4th c.) and priceless frescoes.

Both of the churches are UNESCO Heritage Sights.
