Language English, Russian
Price 480,00 USD for excursion
Capacity 4 persons max
Duration 8 hours

During this tour we’ll visit major Holy Places for the Christians, Jews and the Moslems, just to see how much they all have in common.

After stopping for a breathtaking site of Jerusalem from the top of Olive Mountain, we’ll cross the Valley of Kidron, where the Resurrection will take place at the Day of Judgement. All three religions say the same about this Awesome Day –the Messiah will descend the Olive Mountain, will cross the Kidron Valley and will sit beside the World Foundation Stone to judge the humanity, while the dry bones of all the deceased will gather through the underground channels at the Valley of Kidron, for the Last Judgement.

We’ll reach the Dung Gate and start our walking tour from here. We’ll climb the Temple Mountain - the place where World Foundation Stone was set by the Lord at the Day of Creation. The same place, where Solomon' Temple stood once. And surely – the same place where King Herod had built his Temple - the biggest and the most beautiful structure in the whole Roman World. And this is a place, where the most holy Moslem sites are standing today, in their ageless glory. Dome of the Rock, the most ancient Moslem building best preserved today, which is no wonder, as it is set just above the Foundation Stone! And just nearby - the Al-Aqsa Mosque – the third most holiest place of worship for all the Moslems, the place described in Quran’ 17th Surah as “El-Mirage“ the flight with the Prophet took riding his miraculous horse El-Burak, to meet Allah, face to face, just above the Foundation Stone.

From here we’ll proceed to a place, generally but absolutely wrongly called a “Wailing Wall”. Indeed, this is a name given to this Western Wall of Herod’s Temple by the Romans who permitted the defeated Jews to pray here only once a year, in order to “wail for their destroyed pride and diminished city”. But the Jews have never wailed about their past, but always pray for the future. And through that, for thousands years already this Western Wall has become a place of hope and expectation of Messiah’ coming, for most of the humanity, Jews and non-Jews alike.

We’ll proceed through the Jewish Quarter, through the Zion Gates, to the Mount Zion.

Psalm 87:2–3 says, “The Lord loves the gates of Zion / more than all the other dwellings of Jacob. / Glorious things are said of you, / city of God.” According to this verse, Zion is synonymous with City of God, and it is a place that God loves. Zion is Jerusalem which

is described both as the city of David and the city of God. This is a place chosen by King David as his last rest place, and here Jesus has celebrated his Last Supper at the Upper Room.

We’ll proceed through the oldest of four Quarters of Jerusalem, the Armenian Quarter, to the Christian Quarter, to approach our last stop, the really heart beating one - the Holy Sepulcher Church.. Here we’ll walk through the last five stations of Via Dolorosa, we’ll climb the Cavalry-Golgotha, where Christ was crucified, we’ll walk through the immerse space of the Church, climbing, descending and stopping at those places where the pulse of time has changed.

Jerusalem is the Holiest place for the Christian, Moslems and the Jews, one of few places on Earth where they all manage to coexist relatively peacefully and are building hopefully better than ever future together.
