ANCIENT ART & GOLDEN GIRLS

Language English
Price 100,00 USD for excursion
Capacity Group of up to 5 people
Duration 2 hours

Come to Upper Manhattan where the hills are high and the views are spectacular. In Fort Tryon Park we will stand high above the Hudson River valley looking north and south. In the middle of this hilltop park is The Cloisters Museum, operated by the Metropolitan Museum. It’s loaded with medieval religious art, and the buildings resemble a medieval monastery.

After finishing at the Museum, we descend to the Washington Heights neighborhood, and to a restaurant owned by a friend of the late Rue McClanahan, filled with memorabilia of The Golden Girls television show.

(Please note: the restaurant has a line on weekends.)
