Gravesend and Pocahontas Tour

The town of Gravesend has been a place of comings and goings of ships for hundreds of years, but its most famous visitor was Pocahontas, the Native American Princess who was buried in the town. On this tour you'll see her memorial, a fort built to defend London from the American Navy in 1776, a pier where the Royal barge used to dock, a riverside pub Charles Dickens drank in and there's a chance to cross the River Thames by boat.
