Detailed Tour Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival

You will be be picked up at Kotoka International Airport in Accra from where you will be driven to your accommodation. Later in the afternoon after lunch at you hotel, you will visit the Independence Square. We will later head off to Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum.

Day 2 - Accra

Your first stop will be Fort James, which was built around the late 19th century by the Portuguese. The colonial rule established a large number of buildings and structures around the city and they can still be seen. Some of these are in ruins, some still accessible.

We will also make our way to the Ussher fort, which has a great historical importance.

Walking through the city, you will go through the High Street Accra. This street is the heart of all the commercial activities in Jamestown. You can take a stroll and even check your bargaining skills in the area if you would want to.

Day 3 - Kumasi

This day we will visit the village Ntoso and look at the handicrafts that they make. You will also visit the other villages in this locality and spend the entire day understanding their culture and their lifestyle. You can also visit the handicrafts markets and check your bargaining skills.

We will also visit the nearby churches and temples.

Day 4 - Mole National Park

Abound in the glory of nature at its zenith; soak in the ancient calls echoing amidst the green. Try spotting the Great Blue Turacos’ aerial procession where these magnificent birds streak the sky with their psychedelic red, green and blue colors.

This rainforest is one of the most virgin, ancient forest lands of East Africa.

Day 5 - Tamale

This is a place where you can bargain way much more than what you can always expect. This place is a heaven if you are into shopping and more accurately, street shopping. This market place is a good place for you to souvenir shop too.

Day 6 and 7 - Bolgatanga, Ouagadougou

Sightseeing and monument visits are the main parts of these 2 days.

Day 8 and 9 - Burkina Faso and Niger

Visit to varous national parks and game deives in the area. Bird Watching is included too.

Day 10 - Niamey City Tour

After breakfast, we will visit the National Museum, The Grand Marche, Centre Culturel France-Nigerien. This is a theater for all the arts, crafts, dance and other showcases. We will, after lunch, spend the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 11, 12 and 13 - Pendjari national park

Spend these three days in a beautiful national park in the west african tropical savannah. You will have a chance to spot elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos etc.

Day 14 and 15 - Ganvie, Cotonou

This city is famous for its temples and churches. We will also take a guided tour of this city and indulge in interactions with the local community people.

We will also visit Ganvie, the floating village on stilts.

Day 16 - Leisure at Accra and Departure

You can choose to rest for the day or indulge in some street shopping and eating. The food in Accra is delicious and the markets are filled with craft items.
