Giudecca island was call “Spina longa” because of its prolonged fish-bone shaped character and it's compesed by 7 small islands linked by bridges.
We will discover the residential and modern area of the Island, developed/grown in the second half of the last Century.
The meeting Point is at the Sacca Fisola stop. From there we are moving toward the cour of this island, discovering some contemporary residential buildings, then, through the Ponte de Lavraneri, we will see the Old Mulino Stucchi (now Hilton Hotel) and the reformed Convent of Santi Cosma and Damiano.
We are then walking to the Corte Cordami, where mooring ropes were released. At least, we will visit the Jungham Complex, enjoying the amazing view of the South Lagoon.
