Located in the city centre of Toluca, it's both a museum and a botanical garden.
At the beginning of the 20th century, it was intended to be a market, to celebrate the centennial of the Mexican Independence. The original structure was inspired on the French Art Nouveau and the Eiffel Tower iron construction.
By the 70's the market was too big and it got relocated leaving this huge structure abandoned, until the artist Leopoldo Flores came with the inspiration to create "the Wings of Man", the largest Vitral in the World.
Excursion can be arranged to suit your needs.
