Otavalo Indian Marquet

North of Quito, at an altitude of 2530 mtrs, is fertile Imbabura province with its many lakes and remains of pre-hispanic culture. We visit Otavalo, an indigenous community with its own distinct social and economical habits. In the centre of town is the Plaza de Ponchos, the market, where you can find furniture, tapestries, clothes, jewellery, hats, toys, and much more, all locally made products of the highest quality.
