Tour of Montevideo

Visit first the old city with its best monuments and buildings, the Cathedral, the Cabildo, Independence Square, Teatro Solís, Palacio Salvo the avenue “18 de julio”, the main commercial central street, with its multiple architectonic styles (art déco, eclectic, art nouveau,) then pass by the Obelisc. We continue towards the Parque Battle y Ordoñez, to see the “Estadio Centenario”. Near the estadio we will stop to know the monument of La Carreta, a spectacular iron made sculpture. We pass the Mercado Agricola. The Legislative Palace with its superb marble structure, that is one of the architecture master pieces of Montevideo. From there we will go to visit the sandy beaches that Montevideo has. At the end of our tour we will also see Carrasco neighbourhood, with its beautiful beach and gardens. We will leave you back at your hotel.
