On this tour, you will be taken on a horse or camel ride, meet a nomadic family and visit the tallest statue in the world and monastery.

A short visit to the Local Nature Museum will introduce you to some of the wildlife and natural beauties of the area before a short walk brings you to the monastery.

The Manzushir Monastery was destroyed in the 1930s, but a reconstruction project is underway. The ruins of the original monastery, dating from 1733, are clearly visible.

We are leaving the city early in the morning and we can get there within an hour. It is important for us to see as much as greatest historic and true nomadic lifestyle outside the city within short period of time.

You may take an elevator ride up to the horse neck with spectacular view of the surrounding area. There is also a small archaeology museum in the base of the statue with ubiquitous souvenir shops. You may try on traditional Mongolian costumes at the museum. After visiing Statue, we will drive to a nomadic family in Terelj National Park. Park wildlife includes brown bears and over 250 species of birds and you will have a chance to see a lot of animals such as yaks, sheep, goats and horses hanging out around this National park. The Tuul River flows through the park. The park has interesting formatted rocks and includes two famous formations named for things they resemble: Turtle Rock and the Old Man Reading a Book. Once we got to the National Park we will have a welcome lunch with the host family who will guide us to the horseback riding following days, wonder around the area and cook Mongolian National foods with the host family followed by an overnight stay in a ger.
