Antigua Guatemala was the main city of the kingdom of Guatemala for over 230 years, from 1543 until its destruction by earthquakes in 1773. Today the city maintains many remnants of 16th and 17th century houses and buildings.
Our tour begins in the central plaza with its main buildings in the surrounding area such as The Cathedral, the City Hall, and the Palace of the Captains General. We will also visit other points of interest such as: San Francisco Church, Casa Santo Domingo Hotel Museum, the Carmen handicraft market and the Jade Museum.
