Trzy Korony, Czorsztyn Castle, Pieniny National Park
One day trip to Pieniny mountains. This is rather small but rocky and very diverse mountain range built of limestones. It is cut by the impressive Dunajec Gorge very well visible from Trzy Korony peak (982 m asl). The nature of Pieniny is protected by the national park, which is the oldest one established in Poland.
On our way to Trzy Korony, we will visit one of the medieval castles, which is located over the Czorsztyn Lake.
On our way back, we can visit center of Szczawnica, a mountain resort known from its spa waters.
The trip departure is from Krakow. Good physical condition is required as the asends in Pieniny are rather steep. There are no technical difficulties on the trails, but people with fear of heights are not recommended to go to the Trzy Korony viewing platform.
Transportation and entrance fee to the National Park and to the Castle are not included in the price.
Note: I can take up to 4 people in my private car.
