Gur-Emir Mausoleum – the final resting place of the mighty Amir Temur and the Timurid dynasty, wrapped in deep turquoise and golden elegance.
Ulugbek Observatory – once the center of astronomical genius, built by Timur’s grandson.
Shakhi-Zinda Necropolis – an avenue of beautifully tiled tombs, including the shrine of Qusam ibn Abbas, cousin of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Hazrat Khizr Mosque – a spiritual stop with a view, one of the oldest mosques in the region.
Lunch at the charming Bibikhanum Teahouse, where local flavors meet traditional vibes.
Afternoon – Echoes of Empire
Bibi Khanum Mosque – once one of the largest mosques in the Islamic world, built by order of Timur for his beloved wife.
Registan Square (Evening glow) – step into the magic of Samarkand's beating heart, surrounded by three iconic madrassas:

Morning – Touch of tradition
After breakfast, we explore the soulful craftsmanship of the city:
Ancient Paper Factory (Konigil) – see how Samarkand’s famous mulberry paper is still made by hand.
Afrasiyab Museum & Ruins – discover the buried history of the ancient city that predates even Timur’s Samarkand.
Midday – Local taste & market buzz
Wander through Siyab Bazaar – taste fresh fruits, smell spices, and experience the rhythm of everyday Samarkand life.
Lunch at a local restaurant, where traditional dishes are served with warm Uzbek hospitality.
Afternoon – Free time
Enjoy 2 hours of free time for relaxing, exploring, or picking up some meaningful souvenirs before we head to Tashkent.
