Anago James Akeem Osho is a tour guide in Nigeria, Benin, Ghana

Anago James Akeem Osho is an enigma. He is a Museum Curator, Professional Tourist guide, Historian, Creative Artist, Researcher, Public Speaker, Social Studies teacher, Author and founder of Anago Osho Tourism Adventures and Preservation.

He is the Director of Badagry Historical tours, Cape Coast-ElMina Historical tours, Abeokuta Historical tours, Lekki City and Village Tours and West African tours with Anago Osho

He is Chief Seriki Faremi Williams Abass of Badagry family Historian, aimed at promoting the Seriki Williams Abass slave Museum (also known as the Brazilian Barracoon) and family heritage.

Anago was a member of the Demosite Management Committee of the COAST PROJECT in Badagryfrom 2009-2012, organized by UNESCO, UNEP, UNWTO and Lagos state ministry of Culture and Tourism. The project was aimed at promoting sustainable and Coastal tourism.

Anago Osho received an award as the best Culture and Tourism promoter of the year 2015, by Eko vision magazine, Lagos. He recieved another award called Badagry Intergrity Award as the most Outstanding Curator of the year 2016, by Badagry Newspaper and Badagry Elite Forum.

He wrote a book titled LEKELEKE: Folk stories, Poems, Maxims and Tourism adventure pictures. The book is widely circulated around the world. His other books include: Tourism and Tour Guiding, How the Slave trade began, The History of Seriki Williams Abass of Badagry.

There are many academic journals and newspaper publications that recognized his works.

His article was published in IOSR Academic Journal of Humanities and Social Science titled, ‘’SerikiAbass: Slave trade, Badagry and the history that refuses to die’’, August 1, 2016.

Anago James Akeem Osho received a certificate as an International researcher from the International Organization of Scientific research India and U.S.A.

He has taught Tourism and Tour guiding at different training programs and he was motivated to do so by Lisa Aubrey PhD, and the desire to train Tour guides in Bimbia-Cameroon.

He released a Folk Music Album in 2003 and 2005 titled ‘’Anago Babalode’’ and ‘’Obe Gbigbona’’.

In 2005, The Olowu of Owu Abeokuta, H.R.M Oba Olusanya Dosunmu, Kangunere, Amororo I, during his coronation called Anago Prince, the Ayanfeomo of Owu Kingdom.

Anago has tour guided and curated important personalities from around the world in the museum and on the road of adventures.

Anago Osho has contributed immensely to the promotion of tourism and the art of guiding tourists in the museum and everywhere he had the opportunity to do so.

Tourism, History and Tour Guiding is an inbuilt gift for him. He add humour, education and entertainment to his tour guiding activities but what matters to him is the interest of his tourists.

He is working on a new book to be published soon.
