Lorenzo Bonoldi is a tour guide in Mantova
I am art historian on loan to professional tourism, and since 2006 I run private tours in Mantua.
Mantua (Italian: Mantova) is a city in Northen Italy, declared by UNESCO to be a World Heritage Site.
For almost four centuries - from the middle ages to the baroque era - Mantua has been ruled by the Gonzaga family (1328-1707) who turned the city into one of the main artistic, cultural, and musical hubs of Italy. Mantua is known for its architectural treasures and artifacts, elegant palaces, and the Renaissance cityscape.
Mantua has also been selected as the Italian capital of culture 2016.
My tours are listed #1 amongst the "Activities in Mantua" on TripAdvisor and recommended by Lonely Planet as "TOP Choice".
So, if you are planning tours and itineraries in Northen Italy, focusing on art and culture (but also good food and wine), Mantua is really a destination not to be missed. So, if you are planning to pay a visit to Mantua, I can be a perfect point of reference for you. You can count on me to make your guided tour a day to be remembered.
