Peter has twelve years of development work experience in Ecuador, Honduras, Indonesia, and Sri Lanka with United Nations consultancies and the Interamerican Development Bank behind him. He won the United Nations Development Programme´s Administrators Award for Innovation and Commitment in 2004 and 2006. Organized big events with Bill Clinton and Kofi Annan. Peter started the foundation Estrella del Mañana in Ecuador in 1997, that worked with education of 6000 street children and youth. Co-founder of tourism and event company Indigo Travel & Events.
Peter also created involving bringing artists from around the world to paint street walls and make sculptures for underprivileged communities, to enhance tourism and the economy and empower the communities. So far there are projects in Quito, Ecuador, Tegucigalpa, Honduras, Sevilla, Spain, Egypt along the Nile in eight locations, Amman, Jordan and Sandefjord, Norway.
Peter is also the creator of the World School Championship in Reforestation
In a response to the alarming rate of global deforestation, a passionate group of determined students have proposed the development of a worldwide initiative, “The World School Championship, (WSC ”. The WSC works to counteract the devastation and affects of this loss by challenging schools worldwide to fundraise for 18 reforestation projects in four continents.
