Enjoy your stay in the citadel by visiting the streets and walls of the medieval city and the both romanesque and gothic Basilica!
We will then join the new Carcassonne downtown to enjoy its typical "Bastide" townplanning and the magnificient drapers private mansions.
The "Bastide Saint Louis" is so pleasant, bordered by the river Aude, the Canal du midi, and shady planetrees alleys.
