FULL DAY AKAGERA GAME DRIVE

and give you small briefing about the whole tour , if there is any question you can ask and the will be happy to answer . Once all are done you will drive to the Eastern part of Rwanda

where Akagera National park is located , which is 2h 30 min drive from Kigali. On the way , you

will have a stopover at Imigongo art Café for breakfast , then continue to the park . Once you

arrive , the guide will go through some few paperwork, then start full day’s game drive as we

make our way from the southern part of Akagera all the way to the northern part. The

northern part has wide savannah’s and is where we are most likely to spot Lions and

Rhinoceros’. The lions were introduced few years ago and their numbers are increasing very

healthily and the Rhinos as well , so it will be a great day if you manage to spot them. This is

big savannah park with several lakes dotting the landscape creating further opportunities to

spot birdlife and hippos. This park has got a wide range of animals including the safari’s big five

animals which are : Lions , Leopards, Elephants ,Buffaloes , the Black Rhinos they are other

animals as well as Antelopes , Zebras etc ...

Late in the afternoon we’ll exit via the northern gate of Akagera and return to Kigali which is a

2h30min hours drive. This will be a very rewarding experience so remember to carry your

camera so as to capture every memorable event.
