Mosaic art is the assembling of hundreds of colored broken glasses and stones. By being set in different angles and catching the light, here in Istanbul you’ll see the beautiful, emotional and artistic mosaic figures from early, middle and late Byzantine period, some of which might even have effected the Renaissance in Europe.
