Village Tour & Temples

Drive 1hour to the local village near Borobudur temple, the villagers will welcome you with a big smile. You will do the village tour for 1,5hours, to have chance to see the local peoples activities, such as farming, learn to play gamelan ( Javanese instruments ) and cook a local snack. Continue drive to Borobudur temple, explore this temple for 2hours, one of the greatest Buddhist monument in the world, and was built in the 8th during the reign of the Syailendra Dynasty. The walls and balustrades are decorated with fine low reliefs of Sidharta “ Buddha “ Gautama, covering a total surface area of 2,520 m2. Around the circular platforms are 72 openwork stupas, each containing a statue of the Buddha. Back to the car to continue to the local resto for lunch. 1,5hours drive to Prambanan Temple is the grandest temple, the most beautiful Hindust temple in the world with a carving story of Ramayana and Mahabarata, constructed in the early 9th century by the Sanjaya dynasty.
