Mukumi, Udzungwa and Ruaha Parks, 6 Days Journey

We will see Mikumi, Ruaha and Udzungwa Mountains National Parks. We`ll ride on safari with biggest animal part of Africa and going to Isimil archeological dig, which famous by elders artifacts, discovered here. And looking at Barbaig people.

First day

Our guide picking up you from Julius Nyerere International Airport. Driving to Mikumi park and starting safari at once. After that going to lodge.

Second day.

Early breakfast and going to safari. Some facts: Mikumi inhabits two thousand elephants and three rare types of antelopes. And also warthogs, baboons, buffalos, zebras, hyenas, lions, goats and others. There are four hundred birds types too.

Lunch on open air. At 2pm we will visit Maasai village. We can see their culture and together singing and dancing.

On evening driving to the Mikumi on check-in to lodge.

Third day.

Breakfast, check-out and driving to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Two hours on a road, with magnificent view of hills, waterfalls and rivers.

Our safari will start from Sanje Waterfall – biggest in this country. We can even swimming in river here.

Lunch on open air and continuing excursion. We wil see a lot of animals and birds. On evening driving to Iringa to check-in.

Four day

Starting from town sightseeing attractions, like Gangilonga Rock. We can buy exotic fruits and souvenirs here.

After that check-out and driving to Ruaha National Park at 12am. Three hours on a road and we can start safari.

Lunch on exotic territory – The Great Ruaha river, with crocodiles and hippos. Our special meal – Tanzanian honey. On evening we going to lodge right into reservation area.

Five day

Early breakfast and going to long safari. We can even go trekking, for extra activity. Can see a lot rare animals and birds. Lunch on open air. On evening we will leave park and go to Barbaig village. Their lifestyle unique, even for Maasai. After that going to lodge in Iringa Town.

Six day.

After early breakfast we driving to Isimil archeological dig. There are a lot of stone columns, which create beautiful view. And we can even play in discoverer and try to find elder artifacts. On excursion we will know about local clan, who was fighting with German colonels long time ago.

After that going to airport and helping you to boarding flight and our journey has been finishing.
