5 Days of Kenya Budget Safaris

Duration : 5 Days / 4 Nights

Day 1: Pick up from Nairobi to Aberdares

Safari starts with pick up from a Nairobi hotel or Airport and after safari briefing depart Nairobi latest by 0930hrs driving north past Thika town to arrive at Aberdare Country Club for lunch. Later on transfer in lodge vehicle to The Ark Lodge for dinner and overnight game viewing experience from the lodge.

Day 2: Aberdares to Lake Nakuru

Transfer to Aberdare Country Club after breakfast where you rejoin your driver and proceed to Lake Nakuru to arrive for lunch. In the late afternoon hours enjoy evening game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Dinner and overnight at Waterbuck Hotel / Lake Nakuru Lodge / Flamingo Hill Camp

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

Leave Lake Nakuru after breakfast driving to Masai Mara to arrive in the early afternoon hours for lunch. In the late afternoon hours enjoy evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Explorer Backpackers Camp (en-suite tent wing) / Mara Sopa Lodge / Mara Leisure Camp

Day 4: Masai Mara

After breakfast time to enjoy full day in Masai Mara with morning and evening game drive. Lunch, dinner and overnight at similar property spend on day 3

Day 5: Masai Mara to Nairobi

Depart Masai Mara after breakfast driving back to Nairobi to arrive in the early afternoon hours with drop off at a Nairobi city hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your onward flight to a beach destination (Kenya Coast of Mombasa or Zanzibar Island) or to Kilimanjaro Airport (get way to Tanzania Northern circuit to proceed with our Tanzania Safaris)

Cost includes:

• 4 nights’ accommodation on full board basis

• Unlimited game drives as indicated in the itinerary above

• Park entry fees

• Transport on exclusive use in safari minivan with pop up roof enhanced for game viewing - where you wish to use safari equipped 4 x 4 instead of minivan then refer to applicable supplement to apply in the tariff

• Services of professional English speaking guide cum driver

• Emergency evacuation cover

• Complimentary mineral water i.e. 2 bottles of 500ml per person per day

Cost excludes:

• International / regional / domestic flights

• Extra activities (hot air balloon safari, Maasai village visit, guided nature walks)

• Lunch on the last day @USD$25/- per person at Carnivore Restaurant or similar city restaurant

• Easter and Christmas period supplements – (refer to Easter and Christmas Supplement documents)

• Nairobi accommodation + one way airport transfer from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport if you require an overnight in Nairobi (refer to East Africa City Hotels tariff for rates)
