Day 1: Cotonou
o Pick-up from the airport and transfer to hotel for night stay.
Day 2: Dassa - Natitingou
o Depart to Natitingou, ‘The village of Nanto’.
o Visit the regional museum of Natitingou and also the village of the local artists.

Day 3: Koussoukoingou - Natitingou –Abomey
o Depart to Abomey, and experience the voodoo culture.
o Visit Abomey's historical museum
o Return to Bohicon and stay in the hotel.

Day 4: Bohicon - Ganvié – Possotomè
o Transfer in a local transport, have a canoe ride to the marshlands of Sô Ava and Ganvié, the ‘Venice of Africa’.
o Experience the local birdlife.
o Depart to Possotomè.

Day 5: Possotomè
o Boat trip - ‘‘Way of the water’’

Dinner at Prefet’s place and overnight stay.

Day 6: Possotomè - Kpétou – Possotomè
o Transfer to Kpétou.
o Visit the sacred forest to find the colony of Mona monkeys.
o Return to Possotomé.

Day 7: Possotomè - Avlo (Grand Popo)

Day 8: Avlo - Ouidah – Cotonou
• Depart to Ouidah, which was one of the essential slave trade centres during the 18th Century.
• Visit the museum in the old Portuguese fort and walk the Slave Road to the Gate of No Return- a monument on the UNESCO world cultural heritage list.
• Have lunch and return to Cotonou.
• Get transferred to the airport
