Hike Palmaria Island & Visit Portovenere

This tour is a very special one on an Island off Portovenere. Meet at the train station in La Spezia. We'll walk to the open-air market for fruit, cheese, & bread before we take the bus to Portovenere. Here we take the small ferry boat over to the Island of Palmaria. We circle the entire island, which has many forts from different wars & also a former mining area. Indeed, we will encounter wild goats along the way. We have a break with a fantastic view of Cinque Terre & if clear enough, to Genova. We will continue up the side of the hill & reach our drop-down path, which is breathtaking. At the bottom, we head back along the beach to meet our ferry or to Portovenere. Here, you will have time to explore Portovenere independently. We will take the bus back to La Spezia. There is an option to take the ferry back to La Spezia or Cinque Terre. The ferry is not included in the price. Cost is Per Person up to 10 people
