Silk paper

The first point on our route is the village of Konigil. You will see the full process of making ancient silk paper from a mulberry that was reconstructed in 1998, and you will learn why it was in great demand far beyond Samarkand.

If you wish, you can take part in a master class in pottery: open the veil of centuries-old secrets of pottery, learn the basics of working with pottery circle and painting in traditional techniques.

Carpet factory «Khuzhum» will also open its doors before you. The production of oriental silk carpets, which even Marco Polo admired. You will get acquainted with the work of masters, observe all stages of production. If you like a product, you can buy it - directly from the first hand.

«Eternal City»

Then we will move to the complex Silk Road Samarkand: on the territory of 17 hectares is reconstructed an ancient city! You will plunge into the atmosphere of a beautiful eastern fairy tale - with turquoise domes, mosaics on the walls of palaces and minarets to heaven. Without leaving the complex, you will be transported to the streets of Bukhara, Tashkent, Fergana, try national cuisine of different eras and regions, touch the history and traditions of the peoples of Uzbekistan.
