Egypt is called the heart of history, and Alexandria is the heart of Egypt. We invite you to a city that combines the features of a modern resort and the keeper of an ancient civilization. In the Fort of Qaitbay, you will get acquainted with the military Mamluk architecture. In the amphitheater, immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Ancient Rome. Admire the Andalusian architecture of the mosque and the modern library building.

Fort of Qaitbay.

This security structure was erected in the 15th century on the site of the legendary Pharos Lighthouse, one of the seven wonders of the world. On the first floor of the fort, you will see a tunnel through which soldiers could safely reach the port, on the second - soldiers' barracks and a weapons storage, and on the third - the throne of the sultan. From above, you will have amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea.

The Roman amphitheater, the only one in Egypt. It will take you back to the times of ancient Roman rule. At one time, the theater could accommodate up to 800 people. You will see 13 rows of stands made of white marble and pink granite, numbered with Greek letters and numbers.

Abu al-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque. One of the most famous and beautiful mosques in Alexandria is named after a Sufi saint who lived in the 13th century. Once inside the temple, you will appreciate the Andalusian style of architecture. The mosque is decorated with mosaic panels and artificial stone, and the upper part is decorated with paintings in the traditional Arabic style.

Alexandria Library. It was built in 2002 with the aim of reviving the legendary ancient library. We will examine the building, created in the form of a huge cylinder made of glass and aluminum. You will see the front part of the library, located under a 32-meter glass roof. Graphemes from 120 different writing systems are carved on the walls.
