Catania street art tour

I will show you the street art neighborhoods, the socially active places in Catania and the fascinating port of Catania!

After introducing ourselves, we head to 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭, and I’ll tell youits incredible history, long and troubled, which was relaunched by a collective of artists through a 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐲𝐬.

After that we will go to the 𝐋𝐮𝐩𝐨 𝐆𝐲𝐦 and I will tell you its story: a former gym that has now been converted into an event venue where live concerts take place inside.

Then we will go to 𝐂𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐚, a neighborhood quite far from the center of Catania where a street art festival took place a few years ago, called "𝐑𝐞𝐖𝐚𝐋𝐋𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧", probably one of the most interesting street art places in all of Catania.

Still in the Civita area, I will show you 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 from the outside, an 𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬.

From here we will move and go to the port of Catania, from which we will see 𝐡𝐮𝐠𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐭𝐢 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 and where we will be able to enjoy a bit of the sea.

Step by step, we will return to Piazza Teatro (the meeting point of the tour), and I will give many informations about the typical food of Catania, after 2 abundant hours of tour.
