Depart from Nairobi – Scenic Drive to Hell’s Gate

Your adventure with Jossec Safaris begins with an early morning pick-up from your Nairobi hotel at 7:00 AM. Enjoy a scenic drive along the Great Rift Valley, with stops at panoramic viewpoints where you can take in the breathtaking escarpment views. Arrive at Hell’s Gate National Park around mid-morning, ready to explore.

Biking & Wildlife Spotting at Hell’s Gate

Upon arrival, you have the option to explore the park on a bicycle or by vehicle. The two-hour biking adventure takes you through dramatic cliffs, open plains, and unique rock formations, offering opportunities to spot giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, gazelles, and more. The park is also home to the rare lammergeyer vultures and African fish eagles.

Explore Hell’s Gate Gorge

At 11:00 AM, embark on a guided walking tour of Hell’s Gate Gorge, known for its towering rock formations, geothermal steam vents, and narrow canyons. Walk through the iconic "Devil’s Bedroom" and learn about the fascinating geological history of the area. This one-hour tour offers breathtaking photo opportunities and an up-close look at the park’s natural wonders.

Visit to a Maasai Community

Lunch by the Shores of Lake Naivasha

At 1:00 PM, head to Fisherman’s Camp on the shores of Lake Naivasha for lunch (meal not included). Enjoy a peaceful setting with views of the lake, surrounded by acacia trees and the sounds of birdlife. You can choose from a variety of local and international dishes at the restaurant.

Boat Ride on Lake Naivasha

After lunch, at 2:00 PM, embark on a one-hour boat ride across Lake Naivasha. Glide across the calm waters while spotting hippos, fish eagles, pelicans, and kingfishers. The lake is home to a variety of bird species and offers incredible photo opportunities as you take in the peaceful surroundings.
