Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang City – Tam Son Town

Depart from Hanoi and begin your scenic journey to Ha Giang province, one of Vietnam’s most remote and spectacular mountainous regions. En route, optional visit to the Thai Nguyen Museum of Ethnic Culture, where you can gain insights into Vietnam’s diverse hill tribes.

After lunch, continue northward into the heart of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO-listed natural wonder also known as the "Road of Happiness"—built by the dedication of thousands of workers in the 1960s.

Drive through the Quan Ba Pass, stop at the Heaven’s Gate viewpoint, and admire the mystical Fairy Bosom Hills in Tam Son.

Day 2: Tam Son – Lung Khuy Cave – Sa Phin – Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Pavi Village

Morning walk through Tam Son’s peaceful village life before heading to explore the impressive Lung Khuy Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Ha Giang with stunning stalactites and stalagmites.

Continue your adventure along a picturesque side-loop that follows the Song La River, eventually reconnecting with the main "Happiness Road".

Stop for lunch in Yen Minh, then pass through high mountain ridges, pine forests, and endless rice terraces.

Afternoon: Visit the historic H’mong King’s Palace in Sa Phin, once the residence of Vuong Chinh Duc—leader of the H’mong people during the colonial era.

Arrive at Dong Van Ancient Town, where time seems to stand still among its traditional stone houses and winding alleys.

Journey on to the awe-inspiring Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the four greatest passes in Vietnam, with dramatic cliffside views of the Nho Que River.

Take a boat ride through Tu San Canyon, the deepest abyss alley in Southeast Asia—an unforgettable highlight of the trip.

End the day in the peaceful Pavi Village. Enjoy dinner and overnight at a local homestay, immersed in H’mong culture.

Day 3: Pavi Village – Meo Vac – Ha Giang – Hanoi

After breakfast, bid farewell to your host family and drive toward Meo Vac Town.

Visit the local Meo Vac market, where ethnic minorities gather to trade, shop, and socialize—an explosion of colors, textiles, and traditions.

Begin your journey back along another scenic side-route that reconnects with the "Happiness Road", offering yet more vistas of Ha Giang’s jaw-dropping karst formations and terraced landscapes.

Lunch stop in Ha Giang City, then drive back to Hanoi.

Arrive in Hanoi by evening.
