Your day begins with a convenient pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza in a private air-conditioned vehicle. From there, you will travel south to Saqqara, one of Egypt’s most significant archaeological sites and the burial ground of the ancient capital Memphis.

Upon arrival, you will begin exploring the legendary Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world’s oldest large-scale stone structure. Built during the 3rd Dynasty for King Djoser, this revolutionary pyramid marked the beginning of pyramid construction in ancient Egypt. Designed by the brilliant architect Imhotep, the pyramid represents a turning point in the history of architecture.

Next, you will visit several beautifully preserved tombs (mastabas) belonging to nobles and high officials of ancient Egypt. These tombs contain extraordinary wall reliefs and scenes depicting daily life over 4,000 years ago, including farming, hunting, music, and religious rituals.

The tour continues to the mysterious Southern Tomb of Djoser, an important symbolic structure within the Step Pyramid complex. This tomb played a key role in the king’s funerary rituals and reflects the spiritual beliefs of the Old Kingdom.

One of the highlights of your visit is the Serapeum of Saqqara, an underground complex of massive galleries that once housed the sacred Apis bulls. Inside, you will see enormous granite sarcophagi weighing up to 70 tons, carved with remarkable precision. The Serapeum remains one of the most impressive and mysterious monuments in the entire necropolis.

Throughout the tour, you will have time to walk through the ancient pathways of Saqqara, admire the desert landscape, and take unforgettable photos of monuments that have stood for more than four millennia.

After completing the tour, you will return comfortably to your hotel by private vehicle
