Itinerary
8:00 AM – Hotel Pick-Up
Your guide and driver will collect you from your hotel in Phnom Penh in a comfortable air-conditioned van.
9:30 AM – Visit Prasat Neang Khmau (Temple of the Black Virgin)
Begin your exploration at Prasat Neang Khmau, a 10th-century temple built of laterite and sandstone, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The temple is named after a local legend of the “Black Virgin” and remains an important site of folklore and spirituality for villagers in the area.
10:30 AM – Climb Phnom Chiso (Chiso Mountain)
Continue to Phnom Chiso, a sacred mountain offering panoramic views of the countryside. Climb about 400 steps to the summit, where you’ll explore Prasat Phnom Chiso Temple, built in the 11th century during King Suryavarman I’s reign. Your guide will explain the temple’s Hindu origins and its later transformation into a Buddhist sanctuary.
12:30 PM – Explore Tonle Bati & Ta Prohm Temple
Arrive at Tonle Bati, a favorite weekend retreat for locals. Visit the ancient Ta Prohm Temple, a 12th-century Angkor-era temple built under King Jayavarman VII. Learn about its unique carvings, Buddhist history, and lakeside surroundings.
1:00 PM – Lunch by Tonle Bati Lake (Included)
Enjoy a traditional Cambodian lunch at a local lakeside restaurant. Taste fresh fish and authentic Khmer dishes while relaxing with a peaceful view of the water.
2:30 PM – Return to Phnom Penh
Relax on the drive back through scenic countryside landscapes.
