Trip Plan

Day 1: Get to Kathmandu & Welcome Dinner

Welcome to Nepal! When you get to Tribhuvan Airport (KTM), a person from iFly Nepal will meet you. They will take you to your hotel in the busy Thamel area. Take some time to rest and get used to the new place. In the evening, meet other travelers and your guide. You will have a welcome dinner at a local Nepali restaurant. This is your first taste of the tasty local food.

Day 2: Kathmandu's Old Heart & Program Start

After eating breakfast, the trip looks at the main spirit of Kathmandu. You will visit Swayambhunath Stupa (the Monkey Temple). It sits on a hill with wide views of the city. You will also see Boudhanath Stupa, one of the biggest stupas in the world. In the afternoon, you will have a full meeting about the Women's Support Program. You will learn about the town you will visit. You will also learn about the exact projects and how your help will make a change.

Day 3: Travel to the Project Site

Today, the trip leaves the city noise behind. It goes to the host town. This town is in a calm spot outside the Kathmandu Valley. After you get settled into your homestay, the local women will give you a warm welcome. This is a great chance to start making friends and learn about their way of life.

Day 4-6: Work in the Women's Support Program

These three days are the main part of your volunteer time. What you do will depend on what the town needs right now. This may include:

Helping in skill classes: This could be helping women with their sewing or making crafts. It could also be sharing basic computer skills.

Leading English talks: Helping local women and their children practice English can greatly raise their trust. It can also open up future chances in tourism.

Taking part in daily life: You might help with light farm work. Or you might learn how to cook local Nepali food. The goal is to join in and learn from each other.

Day 7: Explore the Town & Share Cultures

This day is for sharing cultures. You might go with the women to the local market. You could learn a local song or dance. Or you might just share stories over many cups of sweet Nepali tea. This day helps you make deeper, more personal friends. It also helps you truly understand the town's culture and its problems.

Day 8: Drive to Pokhara with Nice Views

Saying good-bye to the host town, the group drives to Pokhara. This is a pretty city by Phewa Lake. The amazing Annapurna mountain range is behind it. The drive itself is an adventure. Winding roads offer great views of rivers and hills with farm steps.

Day 9: Pokhara's Calm & Female-Guided Tour

Wake up to the quiet feel of Pokhara. Today, you will see the city's main sights. These include Devi's Fall and Gupteshwor Cave. A special part of today is that a skilled female guide will lead the city tour. This is another way to help women in tourism. In the afternoon, enjoy a calm boat ride on Phewa Lake.

Day 10-12: Walk in the Annapurna Hills with a Female Guide

It's time for a mountain trip! The tour starts a 3-day walk into the Annapurna hills. A skilled female guide leads it. This is an easy walk good for most fitness levels. It takes you through charming Gurung towns and forests of rhododendron trees. You will stay in teahouses run by local towns. This makes sure that money from tourism directly helps the local people. The views of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and the Annapurnas are truly amazing.

Day 13: Go Back to Kathmandu & Good-Bye Dinner

After the walk, the group drives back to Kathmandu. In the evening, a special good-bye dinner is held. It is to remember this great trip. You will share your favorite times and think about what you learned.

Day 14: Back to Home

Enjoy a last Nepali breakfast. Then, a ride is set up to the airport for your flight home. You will leave with a full heart, memories you will not forget, and the knowledge that you made a real change.
