Our tourcan begin on the Pest side or on the where you explore elegant avenues and lively districts. You will visit later the gorgeous City Park and Heroes’ Square, you will travel along Andrássy Avenue (a UNESCO World Heritage site), and discover cultural gems such as the Franz Liszt Music Academy, the lively Broadway of Pest, and the Hungarian State Opera House.
You will also see some of Budapest’s most famous symbols: the impressive Parliament building, St. Stephen’s Basilica, Liberty Square, and the moving Shoes on the Bank of the Danube memorial. These stops offer a meaningful introduction to Hungary’s past and present.
After discovering Pest, we cross to the Buda side to enjoy outstanding views and historic atmosphere. In the Castle District, you will explore Matthias Church, Fisherman’s Bastion, Holy Trinity Square, Fortuna Street, and the Castle Labyrinth area, while learning about kings, legends, and medieval Budapest.
During the day, we will also take you up to Gellért Hill to see the Liberty Statue, admire breathtaking panoramas over the city, and hear about the hill’s fascinating history.
